Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy forms part of the Plug In Spaces Workspace Licence Terms & Conditions and explains how cancellations, terminations and refunds are handled for workspace licences and meeting room bookings.

1. Meeting Rooms & Boardrooms

Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking:

  • 24 hours or more before the booking: Cancellations may be rescheduled or credited at our discretion.
  • Within 24 hours of the booking: Cancellations are charged in full — no credit or rescheduling is available.
  • No-shows: Treated as a cancellation within 24 hours and charged in full.

Meeting room and boardroom fees are not refundable except where required by law or expressly stated at the time of booking.

2. Dedicated Desks & Allocated Workspaces

Either party may end a dedicated desk or allocated workspace licence by giving at least 30 days’ written notice. Access to the premises continues until the end of the notice period and fees remain payable up to that date.

3. Fixed-Term Plans

If your licence is a fixed term, a termination notice will take effect at the end of the fixed term (and will prevent renewal), unless we agree in writing to an earlier end date. Fees remain payable up to the end of the fixed term, subject to any non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

4. Prepaid Fees & Refunds

If you have paid fees in advance for any period after the termination effective date (and we do not terminate for your breach or non-payment), we will refund or credit the unused portion on a pro-rata basis within a reasonable time, subject to any disclosed administration fee.

No refund for non-use: You are not entitled to a refund or credit for periods you do not use the workspace during the notice period or prior to the termination effective date, except where required by law or expressly provided in our Terms.

5. Immediate Termination by Plug In Spaces

We may terminate your licence immediately if:

  • Fees remain unpaid after becoming due;
  • You breach our Terms and the breach is not remedied promptly (or is incapable of remedy);
  • Your conduct endangers any person, property, or security;
  • You engage in illegal activity or serious misconduct; or
  • We are required to do so by law, building management, or an emergency.

6. What Happens on Termination

On termination or expiry of your licence you must immediately:

  • Vacate the workspace;
  • Remove all your property;
  • Return all access devices (keys, fobs, passes); and
  • Leave the workspace in a clean and tidy condition.

If you remain after expiry without our consent, we may treat you as trespassing and may deny access and remove your goods in accordance with law.

7. Car Park Cancellation

If a car park is included in your plan, you may cancel that entitlement by giving at least 30 days’ written notice (or as otherwise stated at purchase). We may also suspend, change, or withdraw your car park entitlement for operational or safety reasons with at least 7 days’ notice (unless urgent circumstances require immediate action).
